Yanntek: Episode Three

Yanntek wraps up his ultrafunk trifecta on Ammunition Recordings with ‘Episode Three’. In his third consecutive release on Ammo in three weeks, the young German producer serves up perhaps the most bombastic two tracks in the series – ‘Magnets’, an explosive tune featuring vocals which may be familiar to some, backed up by the uplifting, rhythmically complex ‘Rise’. The conclusion in Yanntek’s series on Ammo without a doubt marks him as one of the most promising up-and-comers in neurofunk, and one of the primary architects of the emerging ‘ultrafunk’ sound.
